The target areas of SCILAL’S CSR & Suitability initiatives adheres to the Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 & Amendment to Schedule VII (hereinafter referred as Schedule) and any such other activity as directed by GOI-MoS and DPE.

PREAMBLE
SCILAL through its corporate policy and philosophy has committed itself to social responsibility for the benefit of society at large.
1.1 The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy of Shipping Corporation of India Land & Assets Limited (hereinafter referred as SCILAL) is issued within the framework mentioned hereunder:
Section135 of the Companies Act, 2013 (herein afterr eferred as Act)
DPE Guidelines on CSR issued from time to time
Ministry of Corporate Affairs Notification on Amended CSR rules effective from22nd January, 2021 and 20th Sep 2022.
1.2 This policy is consistent with the Act and Rules on CSR framed by MCA and the policy directions on the subject issued by the Government from time-to-time.
1.3 Whenever any amendments are made by MCA on the subject, the same shall be duly incorporated in the policy document. As per the Act, modification/ amendment to the Policy will be approved by the Board of Directors of SCILAL.
